I am more than happy to be the Banana Man of the 2009 Beat the Banana charity 3km fun run of World Cancer Research Fund Hong Kong.  In fact, I have been supporting the run since it first got started in 2006! 

As a nurse, I value the importance of a healthy diet and an active lifestyle as something we can all follow for prevention against a lot of diseases, cancer being a major one of them. Being a big fan of all kinds of sports and outdoor activities that can be fully enjoyed with friends and family, I would encourage you to join me and the others for a morning of great energy and fun!

The race was by far the most enjoyable running event I have participated in.  From the generous race sponsors to the beautiful waterfront views along the course it was a success.  The distance is short so people of all abilities can participate and all the money raised goes to help fight cancer.  Everybody benefits by participating and to top it off you get to chase an 8ft banana down the TST Promenade.  

Come chase and beat me on 1 March 2009 at the 3km fun run! You don’t want to miss the chance for an excellent opportunity to sweat yourself for good health and cancer prevention!
