2. Collection of Personal Data

What information do we collect? How do we use it?

We use the information we collect about our users to process orders, information requests, and to help our users enjoy a more personalised Web experience. For each user to our Web site, our Web server automatically recognises only the user's domain name, server address and the pages you have visited, but not the e-mail address. No personally identifiable information is collected unless given by the user in the process of their visit. We collect aggregate information on what pages users visit and information volunteered by the user - such as survey information and site registrations. The information we collect shall be kept accurately, safely, and confidentially and shall be used for internal review for such period as reasonably required and is then discarded. The information is used to improve the content of our Web site and not shared or disclosed with other organisations for commercial purposes. If you supply us with your postal address on-line you will only receive the information for which you provided us with your address. Persons who supply us with their telephone numbers on-line may be contacted by telephone by us with information regarding services, orders, enquiries or feedback they have placed on-line. If you place an on-line order, we need to know your name, email address, postal address and, if applicable, credit card number and expiry date. This allows us to process and fulfill your order and to keep you informed of the status of your order.

WCRF International’s Web site Manager is responsible for monitoring and supervising compliance with the Ordinance.

3. What about "cookies"?

"Cookies" are small pieces of data that are stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive. The Web site does use cookies. Our cookies do not contain any personally identifying information, but they do enable us to provide additional features for your enjoyment on this Web site. 4. Will World Cancer Research Fund Limited disclose the information it collects to outside parties?

World Cancer Research Fund Limited does not currently sell, trade or rent to third parties personal information collected when an order or information request is placed.
